Spare tire relocation

Hi. I have a 99D190V with the spare mounted on a rack behind the back door. I would like to relocate the spare to the underside ahead of the bumper. Anyone tried this?

Hi Trekk99,
I have a 2018 Roadtrek with the spare underneath. I would not switch from the rear door. I hope I never get a flat on the rear. The frame of the vehicle would be to low to get a jack under it to raise the van high enough to get the spare out. Getting too old to deal with it.
