Traveling in a 25 ft class C was unable to visit the St Louis Arch. NO rv campers or even your large truck can park. Too large for parking garage, no street parking and if you have a bike rack ( was advised by police officer) not to leave unattended.
Many streets closed but never saw any work. No signs anywhere. I know you do not enter the arch at the arch but I had little time to look for entrsnce as my wife drove rv around a few minutes. What i did see was beautiful but sure would liked to go in. Officer said there was parking all around the arch until local gov. though grass was better. They just do not want us there. ps. Looked a lot like Baltimore, and no one goes to that hell hole

There is nothing in any city that I want to see bad enough to put up with the associated danger to person and/or property.

That is our normal way of thinking but this was 1 exception. The arch is a beautiful structure and more impressive up close. Would have liked to go in.

I guess you could park at the casino on the IL side, I hear it's surrounded by concertina wire like a prison.
Then take the metro train over to the arch.

I've also heard that young thugs use the train after doing their thefts, then jump off on the other side of the river.

Only time this has happened. Most places of imterest see how people travel and are very accomadating. Officer was older guy and very blunt. Cool guy
