I've never been good at finding these but something I need to do better in finding as these I hear are always great stays. Sad to see some closing, hopefully they will reopen someday.

Lots of folks qualify for free or reduced camp sites at these places if they fit the criteria. They should be able to get a lot of these folks to help out while they find people who can afford to work there.👍

Army Corps campgrounds​

I came across it a while ago. I don't qualify so I did not keep the info.
 
I have spoken with 3 different couples who volunteer at national parks or COE parks, and they all 3 said the same thing. They are now volunteering at state parks because at the nP and COE parks, they each report to young and since I can't go political, let's just say the staff is making it hard for volunteers so they can say "see, I told you so". There are plenty of volunteers, but they just don't want to work under those conditions.

I can understand that, Probably a case of White Collar gang bangers.
