It was so nice to have stayed at this Deer Springs RV Park,(Franklin NC), last week. We needed to get away from the hot Florida weather and humidity and this was the perfect place to stay. Elevation was like 3500 feet, the mornings were coolish and the humidity was nuthin'. The park is close to Franklin, Highlands, Cashiers and Hayesville (NC). The whole park was very, very neat, tidy and obviously well cared for. Our campsite had a built in gazebo, with a running full sized refrigerator (yes! ICE!), a fan and wonderful canopy lights. This is a very quaint RV Park, and so worth it to stay here. Jim and Trish are the owners, who live on the 50 acre property. They checked in to make sure we needed anything and were having a nice time.

Thanks for the review, and welcome to this forum.

Welcome and glad you found that gem and great people associated.

We left Deer Springs on Saturday. We were in the Wilderness Loop site 12. We too escaped the Florida heat and humidity. Our second visit to Deer springs and we will be back again. Beautiful campground with friendly people. Can’t think of anywhere that’s better!

Hi Joseph, and thanks for both visiting our park and for joining the forum. Lots of good people on here, and good information available when problems arise.

Take care and we hope to see you guys again soon!
