Hi Everyone,

I did a search and could not find anything on this so if it has already been discussed, I apologize. My wife and I just picked up a 2020 Mirada 35OS. Made the white knuckle drive from Houston to Austin. Will be doing all sorts of suspension and steering upgrades like safe-t-plus, sumo springs, Koni shocks, etc.

We parked the Rv at our storage facility and tried to put the blackout shade down in the front. The lighter sun shade came down no problem but the blackout shade will only go up and not down when pushing the button. We had the coach running when we tried. Did not have the right adapter to hook up to 30amp service (storage facility has 30amp service and allows 1 air conditioner running at any time to keep coach kind of cool instead of a microwave). Do we need to hook up to shore power to have the blackout shade go down or might there be something wrong with the switch or motor. Thanks in advance for any replies. We are looking forward to starting our RV journey!

There is usually a lockout when the engine is running. It should also work off of your 12v power.
