Just wanted to pass this along to other owners to watch for the issue.
When we picked up our 22 SuperStar Dec 27, 2022, the lower epoxy on the driver side fuel door had to be fixed since it was loose.
They corrected that with new epoxy, and we were on our way following the rest of the walkthrough.
Well, we have been sitting about 90 miles from the dealership since then, not traveling. Two days ago, while waxing that portion of the coach, opened the fuel door to clean and wax behind it - both portions of epoxy had come loose, and I was holding the door in my hand.
With both portions coming loose, the door can come completely off without unlocking so it would be possible to have an issue and lose the fuel door driving down the highway.
Personally, I think (and let Newmar know when I called earlier) that the hinged connection should have through bolts instead of the epoxy making a much sturdier connection. Some nice smooth top bolts painted to match the fuel door would be perfect.
Wanted to pass this along so everyone can keep an eye on theirs and not have one of the doors come flying off going down the road.
