These are at a rv show in town,125 .00 for one 150.00 for the other good price? The more expensive one has a replacement board, we have a free pass back to the show.

I looked up models on line, dosen't look like a door buster price, any suggestions for a unit oin that price range?

What are the models you're looking at? 50 or 30 amp? surge protection only? portable or built-in? one time use or multiple? as well as brand would be helpful.

I went with a 50 Amp Power Watchdog - Portable Bluetooth Surge Protector (non-EPO). Once you know what you want just google the exact model and price shop considering tax and shipping charges.

This is the best price I currently find for this: Hughes Autoformers Power Watchdog 50-Amp Bluetooth Surge Protector

Give them you email for another 10% off.

Thanks, thats about the show price, looking for 30amp,but that answers my question

Just my 2 cents but IMHO as long as you're spending the $ on a surge protector you might as well spend more and get an EMS (Progressive Industries) or an EPO (Hughes Watchdog) which will also shut off the incoming power if it exceeds limits or is too low, both of which could cause damage to your onboard electronics. Considering what it would cost to replace the boards on your AC unit, fridge, water heater, furnace, etc it might be the better choice as they will give you more protection. I went with a Hughes because of the blue tooth and replaceable board.

The sales guy explained that, its not a bad price but a 40 mile drive back to the event.

Did you check the price of the 30a at that link I provided?
