I need some advice. I need to replace my 3500 lb. drop-down axles on my dual axle camper with 5200 lb straight axles which will drop the height a few inches because I will not be able to place the leaf springs on top of the axles for bunch of reasons as I have on my drop-down axles. I am thinking of placing a tall equalizer between the leafs to give me a little extra height but I am concerned about lateral sway stability on the mounting bracket. Has anyone had any experience with those tall equalizers or any problems with them?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
