Having spent a career living in BOQs, and Hotels... I am not a big fan of sleeping in someone else's bed.

As we wait for the approaching ice storm to come...I had a reflection of camping in tents. It was fun...but lacked some amenities. This Newmar Lifestyle is awesome! Sleep in your own bed, take hot showers whenever you want, and having your Espresso Machine at hand...well I feel very blessed.

Added Salmon to our otherwise Vegan diet (yeah, that's plant based cream cheese 😉)... Having a nice Bagel and Double Espresso this morning.

Hope your Newmar day is going well too!

Very jealous! And I agree that RV life can be pretty nice!
And I hope we can get back on the road some day!

Your post brings back memories of when I was a solo long haul adventure motorcyclist before transitioning to the "cush" lifestyle solo RVing in my Newmar Ventana. I would do 2-3 week trips all over the US, Canada, mainland Mexico, and Baja dealing with inclement weather and tent camping. I've seen it all... 🤬

August in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado... 🥶

Very glad I had the opportunity to tent camp and backpack the southern Appalachian Trail, and Philmont Scout Ranch. Joyous memories, along with a few cold and wet trails...but not bad enough to take the smile away. But the days of eating Lipton Freeze Dried French Onion Soup and trail mix as a "complete diet"... doesn't sound to attractive anymore. Iodine enhanced canteens... That early 70's Sir Edmund Hillary backpack is still hanging in my Garage. Amazing how much the equipment tech has changed since then.

My youth experience certainly was a big help during Air Force Land Survival School. At least until we got captured. Then...not so much.
