BTW @GlampDaddy, we went to the park clubhouse for taco night, and it was cold in the golfcart! Trish made good use of our Buddy & Jeanette "new RV gift". I use it every morning myself while watching TV!

Note: 3-years ago, ARD was at Newmar at the same time my "new to me" coach was having some work done. She snapped a picture, which was forwarded to Glampdaddy, who then had it transferred onto a blanket which he and his wife gave to us on the day our rig arrived.

One of the most used additions to our rig since we bought it!

Jim, the changes look great!

We’re planning to replace our recliners with something lighter (in color) and with motor driven foot/headrests. Lazy Boy has a lot of options and the local store will even send a designer to the coach to recommend colors (and more furniture no doubt). We haven’t pulled that trigger yet, but plan to….

Are you going to replace your recliners or have them recovered?
Hey LeslieGary! I have no issues with the recliners, they work just fine for me. I know several full timers that have replaced them, but I don't spend enough time in the coach each year that I need to make that jump. So for now, we're just going to have them recovered.

Awesome—can’t wait to see the end product! Heck, we might make a trip, to Ocala do get ours done!

The furniture upholsterer called yesterday to say he’ll be coming by today to install the captain’s chairs and couch. Trish remarked, “Boy, I sure hope we picked the right color.” Funny thing is, she picked the color, not me. But apparently, if it’s the wrong color, we picked it. If it’s the right color, she picked it.

I’ll let you know who picked it later today. :)

Kinda like raising our two daughters, when they were a handful, apparently, they were just my daughters.

So it looks like Trish picked out the color, which is a good thing. ;) But it's not exactly what she wanted, so we decided that I must have been rushing her. At the end of the day, I'm sure it will be just fine. It's just such a drastic change going from chocolate brown to a beige, and it's going to take some time to get used to it.

The fellow doing the work is picking the parts up here at the coach, taking them back to his shop, and then bringing them back. Both the captain chairs are finished, but he didn't want to install the passenger chair until he brought back the last two recliners. So hopefully, we will have our coach back together by the middle of next week.
