Greetings,
I have a 2019 Thor Vegas where the dash fell down on the windshield wiper control arms and ended up burning up the motor and the controller. Most likely a result of a 4 1/2 month trip to Alaska and far north Canada....
A Ford dealer put in a new motor but could not find a controller. According to them Thor does not have them and the third party that made it does not make them anymore. So the dealer was just able to just give me an on and off control, Unfortunately the wipers do not "park". So I have to be good at when I turn them off or they stop in the middle of the windshield.
First: Does anyone know where to get a controller to replace my old one?
Second: The mechanic got me fixed up to get home, but we do long trips a lot. He suggested that we put in an extra support for the dash so it does not drop like this again. Has anyone every experienced this and have a suggestion on how to fix?
Thanks in advance
