I went out and checked the date on the trailer tires this morning! Wow 4 and some change, years old!!!
That is significant because new tires are first order of business, when I get a new to me trailer. I always make sure the tires are fresh (no more than a couple months out of the factory. So I can tell you when I got my current trailer. 19th week 2019, like I said, time flies!
You know, I buy shells! The structure is sound, but the guts are wasted. All plumbing, refrigerator, lighting, climate control, cabinet doors, and any power generation! They are my future projects. After a grand pause, I finally got around to the cabinet doors a month or so ago. But that was the only thing I had not finished. Everything else was complete before September that same year. Boy! I must have had a bunch of energy back then! To be fair with myself, I got sick and almost died in September, so the work stopped. Only minor work around here after that time.
Funny how checking dates can bring back the past!!!
I call this trailer B.O.T. a very nondescript rig, that is out of place in even the most moderate RV parks. It blends well in the forest where campers really do fit in. It also is not the main attraction when in one's yard. What I am saying is it fits wherever I would take it.
I admit the solar array sticks out like a sore thumb! Anyone have an idea how I can cover them up and still get the power out of them??? I really feel it is important to look nondescript in these times!
