Need a flashlight or two for house, RV, etc. Handheld, rechargable, something bright of course. Looking at the one below but not in a rush so looking for recommendations. Any suggestions?

Seems like these companies come and go rapidly. Other than one of the big names, it is a shot in the dark. See what I did there.😂
The 18 Most Popular Flashlight Brands Among Enthusiasts.

Several of these I have never heard of. I think I have a Nitcore, Fenix and Streamlight. They are not in the same place so I don’t have a comparison for you.. I do like my Streamlight.

The one I have now that I like is a Fenix but others seem to be brighter with the newer tech. I need to check out the Fenix website and see what they have now.

Ahhhhh flashlights, how I love thee. 🤪 Great list @AbdRahim. I can vouch for Fenix, Olight, Nitecore, SureFire and StreamLight. My EDC right now is an Olight Baton 3 Pro. Love it. I do have my eye on the NiteCore P20ix. Happy Shopping @Neal. I'm sure you will have us spending our pennies soon with your update.

I generally lose flashlights. I do have a rechargeable in my bucket buddy, and it holds a charge for a long time. I misplaced the charger cord. I have found the cord and also purchased a spare charging cord.
For about $2.00 you can get a little penlight at Wal-Mart with batteries. I bought several and gave them to my friends. Some of my friends carry them others have lost the light I gave them. It is not a big deal to spill a cup of coffee for lose a $2 light.
This seems like a crapshoot, but you could have fourteen $2 lights in several places rather than a $28 dollar light. There is a better chance to find one of your $2 lights with a good battery than look for the fancy light.
If you had all fourteen $2.00 lights together they would be pretty bright with a bit of duct tape around the bunch.
Something to consider?

FWIW I am not satisfied with the Nebo Davinci. Not as bright as older lights I have, zoom is clumsy and insufficient, they are overpriced, they take too long to charge, and charge doesn’t last long enough. Other than that, an ok flashlight. Solid enough build to use as a sap.

During my sailing days, Pelican lights were my choice, and Streamlight is a fire service standard. Also Surefire has always made very good weapons lights.

Fenix PD36R is what I have now and it's been great. Looking for newer and brighter options. Researching...

I like the small handheld design and option to change brightness like the Fenix above.

The two-dollar Walmart flashlight (2 AAA, in-line) can be drawn from a cargo shorts pocket (carpenter's rule pocket) "fastest in the west". And held in mouth surgeon-like. Highly recommended for 99% of flashlight needs. Convenience is everything. Otherwise sits on counter.

My wife keeps telling me we need a good torch, I keep using my phone.
