not to be "that guy", but I have a serious comment to make.

If you wanted to setup a summer trip to BANF/JASPER/GLACIER areas, that would be a nice RVF first meet & greet function.

You would have to consider no earlier than May and no later than October.

Sorry to steer this thread off course....carry on.

....how we miss the humor of my desire for ice capades, satirical from my travels last year.

No, it wasn't missed-
Ohhhhh, hmmm, well, my plan for next big travel is Denver area...maybe northwest after.

Back to stupid humor...

I noticed the NKK Alaskan tour is leaving after International Rally in late July and ending in Fairbanks on Sep 10th. I know it’s not as late in winter you normally like to travel but snow will be likely on the return south.
Here is a picture of friends house in Eagle River on 9/24.

Is there a glacier tour included? Can we have high tea in that stupendous hotel? How about Lake Louise ice skating? Will you offer a complete refund if the weather is inclement when we arrive? Does Elli require dog companions and will she dogsit?

Camping on a glacier is preferred, I'll see what I can arrange. Refunds are only approved for blue skies, otherwise weather is required, lots of snow! Elli is hosting a dog sledding event, chasing milkbones on a tether. The more the merrier.

Ending in Fairbanks in September? That seems like a trap waiting to happen. When is the @NWIP Alaskan tour? Forget the NKK, we have our own wagonmaster!

I would love to do a AK => CA => Home trip. Both AK and Canada are high on my list, at the right time of year of course. Don't know when that can happen, it may be years off for me.

@redbaron you certainly have me thinking... MT in the fall may be something. Will your coach be out of paint by then? Maybe 2023 we can get north without jabs.

Montana is wonderful in September, and dicey after October. There was 43 days of beautiful weather Between Sep 20 and Nov 15, but 3 really bad days early in October.

Montana can have 4 seasons in a 24 hour period. Oct 10 the daytime high was 82F, and that night it was 12F and sleeting. The next day it was in the 60s.

Montana's fall weather begins in August BTW

I know there was snow 2 weeks after we went thru Lake Muncho area in 2019. My goal will be to be back in lower 48 by Sep 1st. I can start a standby list, $1000 non-refundable deposit😀.
