I’m getting ready to install Tire Minder, 8 tires on bus and 4 on tow vehicle. Anything I need to know? How has experience been with Tire Minder?

It doesn't "prevent" the transmitter from being stolen, it just makes it harder for the sensor unit to be removed without tools. The jam nut requires a wrench to loosen it before the sensor can be easily unscrewed. I guess the theory is that thieves don't carry the special wrench needed to loosen the jam nut.

I don’t use any jam nuts on my senders. I had a problem with the extension valve on my inner dually. It took some work but I fixed it. When I go for tire change, I will ask for one piece valve instead of extensions.
