We haver a 2012 Tiffin Allegro 30 GA with 25,000 miles on original Michelin tires, XRV 235/80R22.5. Thread shows no cracking, but sidewalls show some spotty minor cracking along raised lettering. Question: is it time to replace tires?
I'd appreciate any experience based recommendations for "best" tire brands. I'm looking for 1. Quiet ride, 2. "Good" handling/steering control 3. Good ride in smoothness and ability to achieve balance.
Thanks
Luke

9+ year old tires are at the end of their life and should definitely be replaced. Michelin 235/80 R22.5 tires are often replaced with 245/75 R22.5 tires which are very close in size. Toyo M154’s are a very good tire and less expensive than the Michelins.

Are your tires the original from 2012? If so it's probably time to change them. Lots of good tire brands out there. Read the reviews. I'm considering the Toyo's next time. Michelins are great tires but pricey. Look at the FMCA tire program for the best discount on Michelin tires.

the 245 is a little bigger correct ?
