I have a 2017 Chevy Colorado and am now on my 3rd set of tires. It came with Goodyear "Kevlar..." tires and for some stupid reason I replaced with the same on the 2nd set. I would never go with Goodyear personally, but did. The tires were fine initially but they became quite loud after time.
For my new set that I got I'd say around 6 months ago I went with Michelin Defender LTX. Night and day difference, so much better of a ride and quiet.
If you're coming up on new tires for a Colorado (or similar) - consider Michelin's instead of what came on it.
