A new feature was just added to the forum that may come in handy. When going to a discussion at the top right of each post is a number such as #1, #100, etc. as shown in purple 1 above. This was always there and is actually linked so if you right-click on this linked number and choose Copy link address you can provide a link to others that will take you to that very post.
