My wife and I have our first-class A motorhome. It's a 2006 Newmar Ventana which I would like to set up to tow are 2024 jeep wrangler. Think I have decided to go with the night hawk tow bar but was looking for advise on tow brake systems. Was wanting a permanent system and considering either the Air force one or the Curt Shadow. Because I plan to do the install myself, I am leaning towards the Curt system because it appears to be an easier install however I have read a couple complaints that it loses communication from the wireless tablet easily. Looking for comments on what systems others are using and if anyone using The Curt system has experienced this problem?
Thank.s to all that respond. Howard.

Your MH probably is not set up for an Air Force 1. If it is not, I would suggest the Demco Stay-in-Play Duo. When I had my gas coach, I went with this and have liked it. I have a diesel pusher that is set up for an AF1, but I have the same toad, so I am still using the stay-in-play. When it is time for a new toad, I will probably swap over to the AF1.

We have used the Demco Stay and Play Duo on our last two toads.

Worked well on our class c and now that we have the Super C we still use the same, just adjusted sensitivity so the toad brakes only apply in emergency stops.

Thanks 'I'll take a look at that system. Just don't want to go with the kind you have to take out each time. I know my coach isn't already set up for the AF1 but I looked over the install and it can be added but takes a little more effort than the Curt because of having to tie into the air lines and mount a tank somewhere to the frame.
