I'm Kinda stuck on 5.7s now days. Just got another truck a 99' chevy has 3/w OD and 4.11 gears in rear. I expect 6 to 9 mpg with it pulling my 5th. small 26ft. With my RAM same size engine and 8sp with 5.72 rear I get about 13mpg. Most of my hauling over the years I would say 11mpg is a good number. When hauling bigger engine seems to get a little better MPG than going to small.

Oh yah! I saw them filming an auto add once. The engine wasn't even running. Yah the car was moved for every frame. Can't believe everything you see, even more so if it comes out of Hollywood it seems.
