02 Imperial, 3rd owner low miles stored inside. The panel located above the passenger seat is making a rapid ticking sound roughly 7 tics per second. With the charge light flashing in sequence. The battery full light is on solid. I can longer control functions from this panel. However it still notes things such as system status, inverting etc. Inverting still works as soon as shore power is discontected and is noted on the panel screen.
Paper work shows inverter replaced in 2016. Trace longer exists and was purchased by Xantrex which no longer supports it.

My question is this; As these connect by a phone cable is there another brand that will subsitute . I've seen a few used on Ebay $300+ with no guarantee. So far the only choices seem to be replace the inverter and the control unit. Or ignore it till it breaks.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Jim

I assume the inverter is in fact an inverter/charger.
Who makes an imperial?
What else is involved with the system?(Solar •••).

I spent a week correcting wiring and troubleshooting a similar issue this spring. That system was being used off grid. The main issue was solar settings. I don't have hands on with your system so can't really know what you have there.

I wouldn't be to quick to replace anything without some troubleshooting.

If things are acting up keep working on it. Last thing you want is a trip being foiled because you ignored something that is trying to tell you something.
