Thanks to the advice here, my inclination was validated regarding getting new tires. To recap, they are 2019 tires, made in China (can't remember specific brand).
Researching tires, I've settled on Goodyear Endurance. They apparently are made in the USA, but I need to verify that.
My question is how do you determine the country of origin for any given brand? I understand some of the American brands are made in various countries like Mexico and even China.
