An electrical question..
On our 2019 Heartland Torque T26 toyhauler...
..when I'm plugged into shore power, only one side of my main breaker is hot....
..when the generator is running both sides are hot....
...is this a faulty transfer switch..or ???

..and if it is the transfer switch, where is it located?

..any advice you could give me would be great!!
..thank you...

Not sure on your model where the transfer switch is located. I recently received a recall from Heartland reference the lugs on my transfer switch. Apparently they were not tightened correctly at the factory. I located my transfer box just to the left of my generator (as you face the front of the RV).

I'm having the opposite problem on my T274. The 50A generator no longer supplies power to the front of the RV. But I can run the RV from an external generator using the shore cord. I've been looking for the transfer switch to see if there are any obvious defects before driving the unit 70 miles to the seller.

I hate to state the obvious, but I assume you have taken your front cover off the OEM generator and made sure both 30amp breakers are in the "on" position?

Sometimes when it is really hot I will start my generator 20 minutes or so prior to reaching a campsite. It helps to get the interior cooled down while we are setting up. Every once and awhile only one a/c will be running and when I check the generator I find one of the 30amp breakers has tripped. Not sure why.
