Does anyone have recommendations for/experience with travel planning software. I would like to have something that I could use both prior to a trip and during a trip. Would like to be able to put in waypoints and have daily distances and driving times calculated for me as well as potential campsites near each waypoint. Dump stations, attractions, etc. would be nice. I have used Google maps for this and it can be done but it doesn't break it down by day and as far as I know it doesn't let me set a driving radius from one waypoint to another. Microsoft used to have a nice product but they discontinued it some years ago.

There are a lot of great apps available from AllStays to RV Trip Wizard, some free, some paid.

We use RV Parky. It's free and our main use is to get the names/locations of campgrounds in specific areas as we travel. For routing we use our GPS unit and an iPad for a second opinion if we are not sure of a route.
