TV Intermittently blacks out, repeatedly.

No idea what is happening with my TV. I will be watching a show and suddenly the TV will black out for a second, maybe two. Then it will come back on. 30 seconds later, repeat. Then it may run for an hour with no issues. Suddenly, starts all over again.

Yes, this is what I've been thinking as well.

The issue is that you are stationary. Nothing is making anything move to cause a change. Before I look at hardware I'd look at your stream source. Do you have solid Internet assuming you're streaming? It could even be your Wi-Fi or an internal source issue. You could test this by playing something locally maybe over AirPlay and see if you can reproduce the issue. Or even wired, again, to rule out is this the stream, the source, the wire, or the TV. Finally, make sure all TV's have the latest firmware installed.

What is the source?
If antenna - marginal reception can cause this.

I recently had a similar problem and it was the HDMI port on the TV.
I recommend taking Neal’s advice.

I doubt it's the port on the tv. There are two TV's on this cable run, and the second one (further down the line) is even worse. Basically, the screen is blank most of the time, and then suddenly there will be a flash of picture and then it returns to blank again.

I'm thinking maybe a HDMI splitter going bad? There are a couple of them under the sink so I'll try switching the wiring around a bit and see what happens.

This is what I have under my sink. There is little to no slack in most of those cables on top of the splitter. I keep an eye on them because paranoid.

One of the problems we had was with the Newmar version of the “UTP Splitter” shown above. Rather than buy a new one we bypassed - basically take an HDMI extender and went directly to the television.

May be worth trying to see if that box is causing the issue.

Roku TV? A software update over Wi-Fi a week ago caused this very problem on our RCA Roku TVs. A subsequent Roku software update fixed it.
