Our new camper has a tv but it is not a smart tv. can we get anything to link up our ipad to it so we can watch netflix etc. i am looking at a portable satellite but the reviews on them
don't seem favorable. worse case we buy a smart tv and replace the OE one.

You will need a good WiFi signal, hdmi port on the TV and the above adapter and you will be able to stream. If you use Direct TV at home you can stream from your tablet. We do it all the time m.

Should be able to use a FireStick, but what ever you have heard about portable Satellite might not be accurate. We have been using two Dish tailgaters for 3 months now with very little issue. We have two because the wife watches programs that are on different satellites than mine. If you do consider satellite, just go with Dish rather than DirectTV. I had Direct and that bunch know nothing about RV service and you can never talk to someone from the US.

Looks like you are using your phone to stream the sign.
You might want to consider one of the Roku devices. Probably not one of the least expensive solutions available, but, it will allow you to stream from just about any provider.
We discontinued our DISH service several years ago while still in out stick & bricks residence. Streamed everything through home internet. When we went full time, we continued to stream media primarily via internet.

I have used to stream Netflix, Amazon and DTV, never has a problem. As long as you have internet. I have used my phone as a hotspot if needed. Most of the time I stream from the iPad instead of a phone.

ok great, we use the ipad as well. We have unlimited data on that device.
