I'm from New York City -- not many RVs there -- but my wife's from Texas.

This weekend, we drove to Ruidoso to move our oldest son there. His girlfriend's folks own an RV park, and we got a tour. I've been intrigued for a while by RVs and the "freedom" they provide to roam about the country. My wife and I talked on the way home about looking into this.

Glad to find this Forum.

Welcome to RVForums.com @Howard Freeman and thank you for your support as a RVF Supporter. Ruidoso is amazing, a few of us went there after the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta this past October. It was gorgeous and even got to play some Pickleball with the locals.

Hopefully you have a RV in your future and we look forward to hearing about your experiences. Welcome again to the site and hopefully your son's girlfriends folks can help send people to RVForums.com as well.

I noticed your profile has Kerrville, TX - there is an amazing campground there many of us like to stay at. Buckhorn Lake.
