Well with Covid-19 and bad weather I decided to go ahead and upgrade the factory installed Jenson with the old style MS-Dos style interface with a JVC system with Bluetooth, CarPlay, XM, etc. I used a Voyager camera adapter to covert the plug styles and handle the interiors between left, right, and rear cameras. The system sounds 1000 times better and the cameras work well. Now with Carplay I can show maps from my iPhone or iPad. I can now use hands free calling.
It looks messy now but I’m waiting for the mounting cage to arrive. I also took the front face off the dash to see why one of the AC vents weren’t working. Ducked came off.

Very nice @BGMAC, Nice upgrade for sure! I need to do something like this as well. I have a dedicated camera system so at least I won't have to install a Voyager camera adapter, but the Panasonic GPS that came with the rig couldn't find its way home from the grocery store.

Jim,
What do you mean by dedicated camera system? I got the Voyager for 1). I was using 1 camera input on the stereo and 2) Primarily converting the CEC connectors to RCA connectors.

Jim,

Well, I hope dedicated was the right word to use. It's a stand-alone unit, no other function but to show the areas behind and beside the coach. By default, it shows the area behind the coach, which is usually the toad. When I hit the turn signal to turn right, the view changes to see the right side of the coach. Same for when you turn left, but showing the left side of the coach of course. There are controls on the face of the unit that let you manually adjust the view if you want, including interior if you have an interior camera mounted. (Which I don't)

Well, took my time, but it’s installed. Jim I added a switch so I could view the rear camera while driving. Thanks for the idea. It’s all wired, but I am waiting for a diode to prevent power going back to the reverse switch.

Looks great @BGMAC. Yeah, I see your new switch there on the left, you're a pretty handy guy. Now we know why Twila lets you hang around!
