Hi All,

A few of my roof vents open while I am driving. I pretty sure it is the screw mechanism is stripped somewhat as I can snug them down but if I keep tightening, it will slip lose and then to snug again. I looked up replacement parts but it depends on the model of the vent. I can not find any labels in the vents themselves or documentation on the coachman site. Anyone know the model used? Hengs, ventline - etc.?
thanks... tim

Update: I attached a pic. Thinking this may be the part from amazon: HENG'S INDUSTRIES JRP1000B Arm Gear

Our 14 Forester used Hengs - at least the fan motor I had to change out.

Depending on the year my “guess” would be Heng since Coachman and Forester were essentially the same.

Thanks Dennis - going to see if our extended coverage insurance will cover the replacement. But think they are Hengs as well based on the pics and dimensions.

I have had this issue in the past. I added Max Air Vent covers which allows me to open when on the road and keep water out. this cured my problem of the rising vent lids while in motion. Very quick and east to install for about $40.
