Very misleading. No way I'm going to get 34 glasses out of this box.

Shot glasses?

Creative Marketing?

Doing the math, a box of Franzia wine contains 5 liters and that works out to 34 5-oz glasses. Most restaurants serve 6-oz glasses, so, Franzia's claim of 34 glasses is not too far off the mark if comparing to restaurants.

Not meaning to sound snobbish, but I still have trouble with a "box" of wine. I grew up in a winemaking family; my dad was the general manager of two well-known California wineries during his career, so we had wine by the case at home, but never a box. When the sommelier opens your box of wine, what does he present you with for your evaluation; the end flap? :ROFLMAO:

Sommelier ? Evaluation? This is NC Jim. We just tear off the plastic spout and drink it straight out of the box. ;)

I lost my head, @Jim; sorry! Somehow, I thought y'all would be drinking wine out of Mason jars, but straight from the box works too. :ROFLMAO:
