Vin lookup

Hello. We are in the market to buy an RV. If we have a VIN number, can we use that to look up specs and figure out the value of the RV we're looking at.?

Good morning,
I have never seen the RV VIN used for anything like that. I don't believe it is used like in the automobile business. To find a value, we just need year, make and model. If its a motorhome, the mileage can also come into play.
As for specs, most of that would be available on the manufacturer website. Even past model year information can be found online.
