Question Virginia / West Virginia suggestions?

I need to get the coach out of storage soon to keep parts in motion. Looking for a few weeks in May somewhat local. Any suggestions for Virginia or West Virginia? I'm thinking west options as I'm going to the beach in July. Maybe Smith Mountain Lake, Kerr Lake, or west of I-81 including West Virginia?

There are several campgrounds on Kerr Lake built by the Army Corp of Engineers. If you have the America the Beautiful Senior pass, you get 50% of the very inexpensive campground rate.
