Carefree awnings are less than impressive as they don't really block the sun or give shade on the patio unless it's a high mid-day sun. I stumbled upon this nice add-on for the CareFree awning at the FMCA rally in Perry, GA a few years ago. Highly recommend, has a zippered bottom section so you can have a drop down of a few feet or an all the way the ground setup. In the picture you'll see a dark black line about 2-3 feet down from the awning, that is the zippered section to remove the bottom part.
