I have a Southwind 35K. The dealer said it was prepped for a Washer/Dryer winterizing.
When I look in the closet where you would put the W/D there is nothing there.
my question is how what should I do for winterizing. Do I have to worry about any water
lines that are not accessibl?
That is a good question. If the pipes are capped and have never had water in them then they should be fine. Just open the low point drains. You cannot get anti freeze in them if they are capped, it won't flow with no outlet. IF it is pex, real pex, it will not burst when frozen. but any cheap plastic elbows and such might.
Sounds like dealer BS. If they don't know, they make stuff up to look like they know what they're talking about.
If there's no washer, there's nothing to extra to winterize. Just do your normal winterizing prep by opening the low point drains then add antifreeze or use compressed air to blow out all the water lines and put antifreeze in all the P traps.
We have had our rig for 5 years and I have never done anything with the WD hookup. We have no WD so nothing to do. Our rig is a 2007 Coachman Encore. I winterize using compressed air and then only put antifreeze in the drains and toilet bowl. Biggie is to remember to disconnect water lines from the fridge and drain them. Enjoy!
