Just a note since one of our friends had an issue on the way back from Florida…
He was around Savanna GA heading up 95 when the stop engine and high temp lights came on.
He has a big Entegra with the side radiator.
Pulling over and checking he found his coolant had all come out. Something made it through the side louvres and punched a hole in the radiator.
5 hours later got towed. Spartan had none of the radiators and said they had never needed to replace one.
About 5 days later the radiator had been repaired and he was on his way again. He is getting a new radiator made but long lead time on that.
He is going to add some screening behind the louvres to minimize the chance it happens again.
Thought I’d pass along his story for something to check.
