We have a 2008 Southwind and I can't locate the water heater anode? It is not on the panel where the gas line is. Thank you.

If the water heater is made by Suburban then the anode rod is part of the metal drain plug; if the water heater is made by Atwood then it doesn't use an anode rod, and the drain plug will be a nylon plug instead of metal.

I believe that Fleetwood uses and used the Atwood water heaters that don’t have anodes.

If it is a Suburban type it would be on the front, toward the bottom, in the middle of the water heater.

It's gotta be an Atwood, it has a nylon drain plug. The problem is it doesn't heat when using electricity and we have to use propane. Thank you all for the replies!
