What does it mean when your furnace fans keeps running even when you shut it off.

Your fan may be set to "on" instead of "auto".

Or your board in the furnace is fried. Why is this a water heater question?

Everyone thank you for your response. We are new with this camper and not sure what is going on. When we turn everything off the furnace fan stays on. So he turned it off completely. Now we are having water heater issues it won't come on either. Is this because we are using a 30 AMP and this camper takes a 50?

No, but you really need 50 to work best. Check your voltage at the battery. It should be 13.1v or higher if it is charging. Make sure the converter is turned on if you have turned off the breakers. Everything runs on 12vDC. 120v AC does the work but only thru relays. The furnace is 12v DC only. It needs at least 10.5 volts to work.

Thank you so much. Yes, my husband checked all that and it's good. He thinks something can be wrong with the control panel cause it displays the same amount of power usage even when everything is turned off. It also displays "shred" on water heater even though it's not getting power. My husband thinks the control panel is damaged so we'll be replacing that as well as the furnace board.

It probably says "shed" which means the power conserving mode is shutting the WH off to save the battery. IF you are relying on the panel for voltage readings, I would go to the batteries and disconnect them. Check the out put of the converter on the positive wire and then check the voltage of the batteries when disconnected. Even better, take them to a auto parts store and have them amp tested. Disconnected, the converter should be high 13 volts, maybe in the 14's even. The batteries should 12.8 or higher if fully charged. If they rapidly drop to the low 12's, they are not right.

Also, do you have the manual for that control panel? Might be some nuggets in there.

Thank you so much! He did it and it worked! We are back in the game! Thank you so much! Happy New Year!
