I have a gauge on my fresh water hose. I attach it to the city supplied water. I believe that I want the pressure under 50. My question is when adjusting gauge do I want the RV sinks open or closed. Obviously, I have the city water full open. In my case there is 15 - 20 pounds difference.

I put my pressure regulator on the coach side, aft of my water reel and use 50 psi, no flow pressure.

I put mine on the faucet and have it set to 60.

If there is excessive pressure why have it on the hose?
