All - Some History, we do not have DTV or Dish at home and no RV, but many of you do either one. We get our TV via our wireless internet and Samsung Plus which is built into their sets. We pay for a Weather Channel Streaming Subscription as well. On February 3, 2026, something changed, if we watch TWC, we get about 39 minutes of advertisements and 22 minutes of programing. It used to be different before date above, weather on the 8ths at 18 and 48 after. Now, none of that plays and ads populate that period for another 5 minutes which takes us into the normal show, many times in the middle of a report.

My question, for those on DTV or Dish, has that happened to your programing on TWC? If so, have you notified Dish/DTV about it? Have you contacted TWC and asked them about it?

Steps I have taken, first, if Samsung TV Plus is doing this I notified the FCC, and contacted Samsung, they deny any programing changes. I also have contacted TWC and asked them if they made changes, awaiting a reply from them. As aside, that additional advertisements repeat GMC/Nissan/Applebee's and several other gambling apps they want you to subscribe to, and put some of those ads in foreign language, which I believe might be a violation of FCC Licensing on an English speaking channel, regardless I would most appreciative for any information you can provide. Thanks you in advance. I will attach the timeline we developed as a text document.

I watch ABC Evening News with David Muir. The first fifteen minutes is largely ad free, the back half is 3 minutes of big pharma ads, 15-45 seconds of.news plus teaser, 3 minutes of big pharma ads, 15-45 news plus teaser,. 3 minutes of big pharma ads, that promised 15 second clip of a firefighter saving a kitten, sign off.

Have you considered trying OTA? It's amazing the number of channels and quality that you can get free OTA. Just add an antenna to your TV if needed.
