We planned this trip because of a family wedding. We booked early in the spring at Enon Beach Campground. Enon, Ohio is a quiet place with an English pub close to our camp.
There is an Ohio State Park nearby, but it does not have ANY full hookup sites. Having a wedding on our itinerary, we needed full hook up. Enon Beach Campground was much closer than the State Park to our wedding venue.
The southern Ohio hospitality was the best. I enjoyed visiting with Dave and staff everyday I was at Enon Beach Campground.
The casual entrance sign.
Graced by petunias and other flowers at the entrance.
Driving up to the registration office.
Resting easy on the patio, enjoying the breeze off the lake.
The lake was not crowed on Thursday.
A picture of the retired swing into the lake. The swing was retired due to liability issues of intoxicated swimmers.
Paved camp roads were great for bicycles. All these pictures were taken from my bicycle.
Another beautiful view of the lake.
Look closely for some ducks enjoying the lake.
And of course proof I was there, I had a prime pull thru slot with full hookup and 50 amps.
I am happy to have made an early spring reservation, getting the best spot in the park.
