On my E350 dash, there are 2 power ports/cigarrette lighters. One to the left of the radio, and one to the right. On the one to the right, there is a maybe 3/8" round black "button", just above the port, in the same dash indent. Anyone know what this is? There are 2 wires going to it from the back.
thanks.

Pictures would help, but I found this online. Is this the button? If so it is for TCS (Traction Control System).

In the pic, Im pointing at it. Its right above a cigarette lighter port, that Im replacing with a USB port. Im beginning to think that its a plug jack with a rubber cover inserted into it, but if it isnt, I will break it trying to pull the cover off, as I cant get it off with finger nails. There are 2 wires going to the back of it.

If it is a jack it's probably an AUX input for the radio.

Take a look at the photo I posted. It shows it far a “Line In”. The plug “should“ come out with your finger nail or small flat tip screw driver.
fingers crossed.

Plug came out. Apparently is some sort of jack. What you plug into it?

Audio in. If you have Bluetooth you probably will never use it

Thank you. Mystery solved.
