This has been an intermittent issue for some months now. My heat pump units appear to be getting fed some bogus temperature inputs from thermistors. It is most evident in my middle unit. It will be 70 deg inside, but the KiB display indicates a much lower temperature. The indicated temperature may begin to climb up to the correct temp, only to plunge back into crazy after a few minutes or hours.

My front unit will prematurely stop as if it has reached its set temperature. When I look at the control panel, it’s giving me the hourglass symbol as if it is trying to figure out whether it should start the unit or not. Inevitably, the unit will re-start only to cycle through this routine again at some unpredictable point.

At other times, it works fine.

I think this is a KiB issue. Sound familiar to anyone? Any quick fixes I should attempt?

Mine does the exact same thing on my 2019 London Aire where the middle unit drops 10-20 degs below the other 2 units. At this point the only thing i have done is remove the wall thermistor and checked the splice. This is a Silverleaf issue and i plan to contact them on Monday, I will post to be outcome.

Does the 42 degree reading happen to correlate to the outside air temp at the time of the reading?

No, but that’s an interesting thought. When I looked at the panel, the indicated inside temp was 32 deg, and by the time I put my camera on it, it was on its way up and had reached 42 deg.

Same for me, it can be 100 deg outside and the middle ac reads 20 degs below the other 2

At the risk of jinxing myself, I may have remedied my problem.

I tried the battery disconnect switch first with no results. Then I cycled the breaker for the heat pump unit off and on. I did that about three days ago and so far it’s back to normal.

The electrical systems integration leave a little to be desired in these newer coaches.

You might check to make sure the units are all connected in the breaker panel with enough force on the wires. My rear unit would just trip offline and fault at the Thermostat. It might trip breaker or not. So killed power to coach/house. Took of Breaker panel cover and just tweaked each screw holding down wires. The rear Ac/HP unit was a tad lose, not much. That fixed my issue as well. When we picked up coach, tech doing the walkthrough said the middle thermistor unit was for heat/cold if the AGS system was setup for activation via thermostat to keep pets from freezing/cooking. I do not notice a 20-degree difference between front/rear of coach. But when we ordered this one, we want no tech, last coach was tech, no power could not fill freshwater tanks, nothing. I wanted as much analog control as possible. Simple is better.
