Looks good.

my one bit of annoyance is the sticky top bar. my laptop is tiny, so it's literally 1/4 of the screen is sticky with menus.

Any way to get that menu to hide when scrolling down, and re-appear when scrolling up? or don't show the 2nd row unless hovered/downarrow?
I reset it back to only sticky the navigation bar, not the sub-nav which I changed earlier today. See if that's any better. What device are you using if it's not any better for you?

much better.

Ummm. I thought the picture looked familiar. Found it again on the Adobe Stock Photo library where it is clearly listed as "AI generated". No big deal and it's a pretty picture. I just personally find AI generated artwork a bit creepy. Like I said, no big deal and that's just me, carry on.
I am with you... that is a creepy looking trailer, for sure.
  • Why are the wheels waaay up front?
  • Which way are the steps orientated?
  • Is that a 3-piece awning?
  • The hitch arrangement is also odd-looking.
  • How was it brought in with the rocks/swamp in front?
And a few other minor oddities.

I do hope the winter scene shows up soon.

Yep. Note a 22 foot or so pull behind has dual AC units on the roof.
Is that a third wheel under there?
Scroll all the way down and there's another one.
A goofy looking tiny... class A? With the biggest roof AC unit ever. Giant awning too. But what really stands out are the huge driver blind spots on either side of the windshield. Mitigated somewhat by....portholes? No steps, no doorknob/latch.
And is that a cookstove hanging off the side? With no other signs of being set up to camp?
AI generated art is freaky.

Actually, I kinda like the shot. Looks just plain peaceful to me.

It has a second axle, but only with a wheel on the far side. :ROFLMAO:. But, I agree, it is a peaceful pic.

As you can see RVForums.com has a new design focusing on layout, readability, and other improvements. This theme has a light and dark mode with the capability to switch based on your device's light/dark mode settings. So the most important starting point here is to show you how to switch between light and dark modes to find what you like the best.

If using a PC (larger layout screen) then at the top right you'll see your profile button where you can adjust your preferences, privacy, account info, etc. The envelope for direct messages and then there is a sun or moon symbol which you can click to change the light or dark mode option.

If using a narrower layout such as on a phone then the area to change the mode is on the bottom of the site, in the footer.

As with anything new it can be frustrating at first but please just give the change some time and I'm sure you'll like what we've worked long and hard to bring to the community. To prevent anyone from abandoning the new design without giving it a chance I disabled all alternate style/theme selections for an undetermined period of time. I also need to consider what I'm going to keep around as each and every theme requires an effort to maintain with site updates, etc.

Let's use this thread for feedback, post screenshots of any suggestions or problems you may experience. While I've been using the new theme for a period of time and have been tweaking colors, fonts, settings, etc. I'm sure there are places that can be improved and I welcome your feedback.

I hope you like it. Again, change takes time so give it a few days and let me know of any suggestions as you see fit.

Thank you to the several I tapped a few months ago in helping with the theme design! You know who you are :)

I understand how we think.....we need new gadgets for our RV's and some guys even need new companions :)
Its just our nature, we learned it at a very early age, months before Christmas we were making a list of things we couldn't live without.....
Day after Christmas we weren't even excited anymore about them after we got them.

Me personally, I have even thought about changing things in my life, just because I can....
But honestly, it takes time to get the tee shirt just right, soft and sagging in just those right spots, and our undies, positioning is everything, you wouldn't put all your stores in one spot of your RV and expect it to pull or travel right, would ya?

HOWEVER Neal, what I think is best about your site are the folks who come here and share.

In a world where customer service no longer is, greed and selfishness are attributes.....
It's nice to hang out with real folks who share a common love and allow everyone to choose their own ice cream at 31 Flavors without the need to say "I HATE THAT FLAVOR.....HOW COULD YOU, ARE YOU STUPID OR SUMTIN?

So Neal, you keep this sites attitude on the road like you do now and I think what kind of trim your RV has is just another nice topic for us to chit chat and pass some good times until we are gripping the wheel and yelling at those idiots along our beautiful byways..... :)
