The Sheltie’s name is Callie (Short for Isle of Caledonia - not the dreaded state in which I reside) and while Sheltie may be short for Shetland Sheep Dog she has absolutely no aptitude or inclination, whereas Skipper the Aussie will herd sheep until he’s told to stop. Pic is the bottom 40 advancing about 600 (and about a hundred goats) through a gate, 3 Great Pyrenees (guards) on point.

@Rich W. Shelties have nearly had their herding instinct bred out of them. I’ve had shelties since ‘92 and the changes I’ve noted in them over the generations is startling.

That would explain her complete lack of interest. She rather hunt lizards or hassle the rabbits.
