Question What is required for the wet bay heater to come on?

Another one of "those" questions but I'm curious, the heater fan in the wet bay. What is required for it to come on? As long as there is 12V power and OASIS on either via AC or BURNER? What about if you're driving and you do not turn on OASIS at all but obviously you have 12V power. It could get very cold during driving conditions, is the wet bay heater fan going to operate just off of engine heating of the oasis fluid?

Neal, I will give my answer. However, I’ve discovered that there must be specifics to each model.

Reason being, my manual for the DS4369 says the BLOWER WILL COME ON at 40°. However, @dutchstardon says he has no fan behind his wet bay’s convector.

YET, another 4369 owner just posted he saw a fan behind his! [emoji2357]

Now, keep in mind Don has the 4018, so maybe there is a difference.

BASEMENT HEAT CONVECTOR(S)
The basement heat is activated by a separate fixed thermostat in the basement area when the compartment temperature falls below approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit. If this happens, the hot antifreeze solution in the Oasis system will circulate, and the blower will turn on to supply heat in the basement/water compartment area. The Oasis system must be turned on and the fluid must be above the low temperature cutout for heat output.


So...the basement heater activates below 40º, and works off the OASIS system, which must be ON via either the AC1/AC2 (as in 110v, not air conditioning!) or the Burner (Diesel).
