What is this part I found in my Newmar

I'm pretty sure this part was in my black bag of manuals, fell out, and I threw it in a drawer.
I haven't found any reference to it in any of the reading I've done.
Can anyone tell me what this is, and why I have one?

Some type of roller but can’t figure out what for. I tried Google Lens without success. What kind of dinette setup do you have? It seems this roller has a shaped metal shaft that inserts into something so it can’t spin. Don’t know if it’s from the refrigerator, dinette, a drawer, shower or what. Odd it was in the black bag.

Is it a crank to manually bring in the awning?

The shaft is hex and about 3 7/8" long.
I was thinking a guide of some sort, but just can't figure what it would be for, and as you found the great google-ator was not much help.

I've not found anything amiss with any of the drawers/pantry/fridge/sliding door. I have just a standard u shaped dinette with the drawers under the seat that converts to a "bed".

I'll look at the awning manual closer, that's a fair idea as the white roller might actually work as a sort of handle to spin whatever the shaft goes into. Whatever it would turn must not be expected to put up much resistance as there would be little leverage I think.

I did email Newmar with the photo. I'll let you know in a few weeks what they say.
