Ah, there it is! The age card! 70 years has given me perspective, Ok 70+. At .70 years of age I only had one interest, the woman that feeds me.Doesnt take a specialist to see bulges, knots uneven wear or cravking..and tjats exactly what i said to look for before use...again. my opinion, based on decades of pulling multiple trailers every day..you change as often as you like.. i ll spend that money on important stuff like beer and pizza. And by the way ,70 yr olds have a lot more experiences that 30 yr olds.
.
Darn! Over 50 years since I made my first interstate trip pulling a trailer.
Here are some experiences;
Having to be towed off the wet grass in between D &FW because I was unable to continue travel because my oversized load permit stated no travel after sun set! It rained that night!I didn't plan properly ( experience had me say not again).
Having to sit for hours at California Port of entry because I didn't plan oversized load permit acquisition properly,and they wanted to teach me a lesson.(Experience had paperwork done ahead of time after the experience).
Building a 3axle trailer, rather than 2. No experience other than a trouble free trip. No experiences, the result of experience
Being offered a job transporting yachts from the sea of Cortez while waiting at California's port of entry (see above),
Once again experience,not experiences.
You know My opinion, it's stated in this thread.
It is better to call on experience rather than someone with experiences.
Just saying!
