I have to say I am a bit taken aback by some of the comments regarding my posting the policies I mentioned at Angel Fire RV Resort... I have been staying here every year over the past 5 years and being a Full-Timer I stay at a lot RV Resorts/Parks during my Summer travels. Angel Fire RV Resort is without a doubt one of the best managed and maintained RV Resorts that I have EVER stayed at. The management and staff are top shelf in my opinion... and believe me, I have encountered an interesting mix of management and staff during my travels.

The Land of Enchantment , and the Enchanted Circle, is a very special place for me and the village of Angel Fire in the Moreno Valley is a beautiful place to hang out. If you have never spent time in New Mexico you are missing out on a fantastic experience.

Obviously there had to have been an incident/incidents for management to implement this policy regarding the treatment of the staff. I have no idea what took place but I am going to do some digging to see if I can find out. Angel Fire RV Resort is not a place that, in my opinion, caters to a**holes. The pricing and availability during the Summer months is quite evident of that.

For those that feel, based on this policy not knowing the circumstances that you won't consider Angel Fire RV Resort, I have to say it's your loss. The actions of some individuals, who don't know how to play nice and be a good human being, are evidently the cause of this policy. This policy will not affect my current stay nor will it affect my stays in the future.

So. The best way to handle bad apples, is to dispose of them. It is not, how can we install more control over the customers we want here? More important it is bad practice to figure, how can we leach more profits with a fake face. There is nothing beautiful enough on this planet, to justify walking on egg shells to avoid penalties.

If you say most of the visitors are infact good people. This approach is inappropriate.

I'm sorry if my comment was shocking, it was certainly not intended to be so.
In my career I am very accustomed to rules and regulations and demonstrating compliance with them.
I'm also a pretty nice and levelheaded guy, so I don't envision myself being a violator.

I have no issues with objective rules, like the trash and early arrival rules you mentioned. These are clear and based on objective criteria that can be easily observed and proven.

I chafe at rules that are subjective and open to interpretation by whoever is applying them, their mindset that particular day, and perhaps a bias that they may have.

Courtesy and respect have different meanings to different folks. What may be open and direct communication to one, could be offensive or "disrespectful" to others.

BTW, I took a look at their website and did not see these rules listed anywhere in the policies or FAQ's, so there is no way to know they exist until your arrival. Maybe the reservation system more clearly lays these out, I don't know.

Probably won't keep me from staying there if I can ever make it work out for us, but I do appreciate that you posted those rules here! Forewarned is forearmed!

It is expected that corporate employees are held to standards. Policy's keep uniform standards to maintain customers experience. What should never be acceptable to the public is that same controlling attitude towards the public.

You should not ever translate your treatment as an employee, as acceptable as a customer. Refusing service is totally acceptable.

No offense can be legitimately taken for opinions, only by companies that don't know where a line should be drawn.
