Yes, very helpful. Thank you!

There is an update out for this system. Search for Ranger and see if you can find it. They may have to push it to you. There is a fellow on here who represents them some way, he can advise you on what you need to do.

Actually, WiFiRanger is now a commercial member of this forum. As for the update that was recently released, if Tankercharlie has a Spruce/Denali combo on a new LondonAire it may or may not already have the update.

What we suggest doing is following the directions in the User Manual that Old RV'er has already referenced. You will want to go to the section of the manual which discusses "Dual Router" setups. There are step-by-step instructions for how to setup your system. It's easy, but it's a lot more than we can go into in a forum post.

If you encounter difficulties going through the steps, you can call or email customer support at WiFiRanger and they will be glad to assist. You can also post specific questions here and I'll answer them. But, in my experience, it's best if the customer tries to work through the instructions and then asks for help if they get stuck. In the long run, you'll need to feel comfortable operating the device and the best day to do that is to try!

Once you get to the Ranger's control panel you'll be able to look in the upper right corner of the screen where there is a text block. One of the lines in the block is the firmware version. The most recent version is 7.1.0b11. If you have firmware with anything less than b11 you will want to update. The User Manual has specific instructions about how to update the firmware.

Do you know of any Wifi Ranger dealers or service representatives in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area? My router recently died and I may need to replace it. But it's also possible there's a short in the cable and the router is fine. I'm not smart enough to diagnose it or repair it myself. Any suggestions?

We don't maintain field service staffs but most RV dealers and/or mobile technicians ought to be able to do what you want.

First check the fuse on that circuit, mine was plugged into a 120V outlet, so it may have popped the breaker, just reset and see if it comes back. If that aint it, again, mine was wired into a step-down transformer, so those connections might have worked lose, again, with power off, just wiggle the wires and make sure everything is tight. THEN, if still not working, call Newmar and see if they have any local mobile tech they recommend in your area, then call one of them, they should be able to diagnose the issue. If the lights work, it's on, if the lights are off, it's not on.

With all due respect, yours was wired into a step-up transformer (12V to 24V) not a step down one. And those aren't used in the newer Converge product line.
