and you meant ”will not crank….” ?
 
As stated above, check all connections (easy stuff first), fuses, then solenoid, harness (rodent damage?) etc.

You should have battery power to the solenoid on the big post on the right (if unsure, test both - one goes to the battery).

It could be as simple as a bad ground but you have to run down all the possibilities to trouble-shoot it and no one can tell you what the problem is without hands-on diagnostics.

You can guess, and/or start swapping parts, but that’s never a good approach. Fortunately its a simple system so tracing down the problem should be fairly straightforward other than cramped working conditions.1EE43169-5BEF-4D06-A507-CCB2BFDBCEFE.jpeg
 
I used to fight with those solenoids constantly on old vehicles, and the wire on starter also.

I still have spares that I’ll never use, but I used to harvest those, relays, bulbs, and fuses from Pick and Pull. So I have quite a few.
